When we look at a place, we see it as static – as if it had always been and will always be that way, but all places have history and all places will transform, change, and pass away. Abandoned structures remind us of what once was, but they are not the only sites that experience birth, death, and rebirth. Each work in this series explores a period in a place’s life cycle – tumultuous years existing together in one quiet moment.
